Her passion is creating natural looking results that help people feel more confident about their apperance or have been concerned about their hair loss.
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure where natural pigments are applied at the epidermal level of the scalp to replicate the natural appearance of real hair follicles or strands. It's an effective solution for various types of hair loss, including thinning hair, receding hairlines, baldness, and hiding scars or birthmarks.
SMP typically lasts for several years. Over time, the pigments may fade slightly, requiring a touch-up session to maintain the desired look. The longevity of the results can vary depending on factors such as exposure to UV rays, skin type, and the body's immune response. On average, clients may need a touch-up every 3-5 years.
The level of discomfort during an SMP procedure varies from person to person. Most clients report minimal pain, describing sensations similar to light pricks or a buzzing vibration.
Yes, when done by a skilled practitioner, SMP can look incredibly natural. The key is in the artistry and precision of the technician, who matches the pigment color to your natural hair colour and skin tone and carefully applies it to mimic natural hair follicles. The result is a subtle, understated look that seamlessly blends with your existing hair and skin.
